SATRO team of 4 visited St Nicholas CofE Primary School in Shepperton on Tuesday to deliver two Healthy Eating workshops with Year 5 and Year 2.
3 x Year 5 classes, a total of 90 pupils, were hands-on making delicious flapjack, being packaging detectives and learning how to plan a meal for 2 within a limited budget.

2 x Year classes, at total of 60 pupils, did a carousel of three activities: sandwich-making;, creating a healthy eating plate; cooking skills game and choosing food items for a picnic basket.

The children in both year groups were very excited to be able to take something home with them at the end of the day: either a piece of flapjack or a delicious sandwich.
